In quei luoghi dove prevale solo la semplicit\u00e0 e il lusso della natura, si pu\u00f2 trovare la Creta autentica e tradizionale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patsos<\/strong> \u00e8 uno dei posti dove si pu\u00f2 godere di questo scenario. Patsos offre ai suoi ospiti paesaggi di ricche bellezze naturali, attrazioni storiche e culturali uniche, un eccellente locale <strong><a title=\"Taverna\" href=\"https:\/\/patsosescape.com\/it\/taverna\/\">cucina tradizionale cretese<\/a><\/strong> e soprattutto, la famosa ospitalit\u00e0 della sua gente. Si trova a 20 km a sud di <a title=\"Rethymno\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rethymno.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Rethymnon<\/strong> <\/a>ad un&#039;altitudine di 490 m, essendo ai piedi della montagna <strong>Soros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Patsos \u00e8 un piccolo villaggio verdeggiante nell&#039;ex provincia di <strong>Amari<\/strong>. Ora \u00e8 una frazione del comune di Amari. Intorno ci sono i villaggi <strong>Karines<\/strong>, <strong>Pantanassa<\/strong> e <strong>Gerakari<\/strong>. Quando vieni a Patsos, l&#039;impressione che hai \u00e8 di entrare in un mondo pacifico e diverso. Qui dominano gli odori della natura e dei fiori e il canto degli uccelli e delle acque correnti. Il villaggio ha una ricca vegetazione. Produce tutti i tipi di alimenti di buona qualit\u00e0 come olio d&#039;oliva, noci, ciliegie e molti frutti diversi. Questa vegetazione e le colture sono irrigate dalle numerose sorgenti che attraversano il villaggio durante tutto l&#039;anno.<\/p>\n<p>Non sappiamo quando \u00e8 stato fondato il villaggio. Ma \u00e8 noto che nella zona vi furono insediamenti sin dal primo periodo minoico o prima, come testimoniano i ritrovamenti nella vicina grotta nel <strong>Gola di Agios Antonios<\/strong>, Conosciuto come il <strong>Grotta di Kranaios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il paese \u00e8 menzionato a Barozzi per avere 110 abitanti nel 1577. Nel censimento del 1881 risulta appartenere al Comune di Merona e avere 301 abitanti (14 greci e 287 turchi). Nel 1920 Patsos fu dichiarato appartenere amministrativamente alla comunit\u00e0 Pantanassa e nel 1940 divenne ufficialmente la propria comunit\u00e0 amministrativa.<\/p>\n<p>Nella periferia del villaggio si trova la chiesa in rovina della Vergine Maria, che un tempo era una cattedrale.<\/p>\n<p>A nord del villaggio si trova il <strong>Grotta di Kranaios Ermis<\/strong>, nel <a title=\"Escursione alla gola di Patsos\" href=\"https:\/\/patsosescape.com\/it\/hiking-to-the-gorge-of-patsos\/\"><strong>gola di Agios Antonios<\/strong><\/a>. Questa grotta era dedicata al culto di <strong>Ermete<\/strong>, come dimostra l&#039;iscrizione dedicatoria \u201c\u0395\u03c1\u03bc\u03ae \u039a\u03c1\u03b1\u03bd\u03b1\u03af\u03c9, \u0394\u03ce\u03c1\u03bf\u03c2 \u03a3\u03c4\u03b5\u03c6\u03ac\u03bd\u03c9 \u03b5\u03c5\u03c7\u03ae\u03bd\u201d (a Hermes dio delle sorgenti, prego mettendo questa corona in dono).<\/p>\n<p>I primi scavi nella Grotta sono iniziati nel <strong>1885-6 di F. Halbherr<\/strong>, nel luogo in cui ora giace il<strong> chiesa di Agios Antonios<\/strong>. La maggior parte dei reperti erano figurine antropomorfe e zoomorfe, ora situate presso il <strong>Museo di Heraklion<\/strong>. Gli scavi hanno dimostrato che il <strong>Minoici<\/strong> tenevano rituali principalmente in rifugi rocciosi e trovavano ossa di animali che venivano messe sul rogo, cos\u00ec come vasi e statuette.<\/p>\n<p>Negli stessi scavi \u00e8 stata ritrovata anche una statua del mitico dio Pan. Oggi la Direzione della Protezione Forestale ha configurato questo spazio di per essere pi\u00f9 accessibile e piacevole ai visitatori e facilitare il culto per la <strong>cappella di Agios Antonios<\/strong>, che \u00e8 scolpito tra le rocce della gola. I visitatori possono godersi l&#039;ombra dei vecchi platani e dei ripari rocciosi, cos\u00ec come le calme acque del fiume che attraversano la gola per finire al <strong>Diga di Potamoi<\/strong>. Possono anche seguire il percorso tracciato che porta dalla grotta alla diga.<\/p>\n<p>Il <a title=\"Escursione alla gola di Patsos\" href=\"https:\/\/patsosescape.com\/it\/hiking-to-the-gorge-of-patsos\/\"><strong>Gola di Patsos<\/strong><\/a> si trova a circa 2 km a sud del villaggio di Patsos. \u00c8 una buona scelta per gli amanti della natura e non solo. \u00c8 come un piccolo giardino botanico. L&#039;attraversamento della gola dura circa due ore, \u00e8 relativamente facile e pu\u00f2 essere effettuato quasi tutto l&#039;anno.
